Things to Know Before Visiting Arches National Park
There are very few guest services in the park: no food, lodging (except for Arches National Park Camping), or gas.
You’ll find all types of cabins in the Moab area that are close to Arches or Canyonlands. There are no cabins inside the park boundaries at Arches.
When deciding the best time to visit Arches National Park, it all depends on the type of activities you want to do, and the type of weather you prefer.
The Arches National Park weather is ideal during late spring and fall. In the summer temperatures reach 100 degrees F, and there aren’t many options for shade! Be prepared for COLD temperatures, rain, and snow in the winter.

St. Dane’s Cabins & Campground
Located in the Spanish Valley area on the south end of Moab, you’ll find six cabins to choose from: fun unique exterior colors, dog-friendly, all linens/toiletries provided, BBQ grill, LED fireplace, AC and heat, with private at-door parking.
The Big Horn Cabin – loft with queen bed, sleeper sofa, two win sleepers, full bathroom, fully equipped kitchen, hot tub, and wrap-around porch. Cabin sleeps up to 6. There is a 3 night minimum.
The other five cabins – queen bed, sleeper sofa, full bathroom, fully equipped kitchenette, fenced-in patio area. Cabin sleeps up to 4. There is a 2 night minimum.
