We lived in Costa Mesa years ago and had a few failed attempts at urban hiking that discouraged us. This time around, we’ve found lots of fun hikes in the area, so I’m happy to share.

I’ve never been to the Adirondacks, but I hear it’s beautiful. Any hiking you can do, no matter where it is, it’s a good thing!

Exposing kids to hiking at a young age is the key. I could just sit for hours enjoying the view from Top of the World. Simply breathtaking!

There are many trails where it’s simply walking on dirt on level ground…. and not really ‘hiking’. The key is getting outside – exploring your neighborhood, city, parks, etc.
