July will be hot, but you can do a lot in the early morning and late afternoon. During the heat of the day you can do the scenic drives. If you can’t visit during the spring or fall, definitely visit in the summer vs. not going at all! As long as you’re prepared for the sun and heat, and stay hydrated, you’ll be fine. Summer is a fantastic time to enjoy the night sky too!!
