Best Time to Visit Arches National Park

All four seasons at Arches vary quite a bit so you’ll want to know what to expect in order to decide the best time to visit Arches National Park.

     Day 1

We recommend seeing the sunrise at La Sal Mountains Viewpoint.  This Arches sunrise spot is a favorite because of the orange/red glow reflected onto the various formations.

Day 1 Continued

For a great start to Day One, we recommend taking the Arches National Park Scenic Drive, visiting Balanced Rock, and Courthouse Towers.

     Day 2

Turret Arch/Windows Area and Double Arch are great sunrise areas.  Visit Landscape Arch and  Devil's Garden trail and the Picnic area for lunch.

     Day 3

Catch up on the sights you missed on the other two days. Check out the Visitor's Center, Delicate Arch, and Skyline Arch.
