The best time to visit Grand Teton National Park depends on the type of activities you want to do. There are lots of things to do at Grand Teton, but certains times of the year are more ideal for traveling.

Weather in Grand Teton National Park is dramatically different depending on the season you visit.

Grand Teton National Park from March to June will have cooler weather with frequent rain or snow storms.   Often the snow doesn't completely melt until the end of May or June.

Grand Teton National Park from June to August will have nice daytime temperatures with cooler nights.  Even in summer you may find snow on the ground in higher elevations.

Grand Teton National Park from September through November will have cooler to cold temperatures with occasional rain and snow.

Grand Teton National Park from December through February will cold with lots of snow. Snowfall can be as early as November 1.
