Here’s what to expect during the winter months: - Capitol Reef in January: high 39 / low 14 – possible rain/snow - Capitol Reef in February: high 45 / low 23 – possible rain/snow

Before heading out for winter hiking, check current trail conditions with Capitol Reef National Park Visitor's Center. Some trails may require traction devices.
