Grand Teton National Park Easy Fall Hikes

Grand Teton National Park in western Wyoming is a great destination for hikers of all levels.

Grand Teton is open 24 hours, every day of the year.  Early fall is still a busy time at the park, but by late fall services at Grand Teton begin to close.

Grand Teton in Sept: highs 50-60s / lows 20-30s F Grand Teton in Oct: highs around 52 / lows mid 20s F Grand Teton in Nov: highs around 35 / lows in the teens F

The Hidden Falls Trail begins at the Jenny Lake Trailhead.  This popular hike is considered an easy hike if you take the 12 minute shuttle boat ride.

The Inspiration Point Trail is also accessed at the Jenny Lake Trailhead. The main trail continues past Hidden Falls to Inspiration Point.

The Grand Teton Lakeshore Trail begins on the backside of the Colter Bay Visitor Center.  The hike is two connecting loops that circle the inner and outer portions of Colter Bay Peninsula.

Lakeshore Trail Fall Hike

There is a paved path from the parking lot to the Jenny Lake boat dock to access the loop trail.  Jenny Lake Loop can be hiked in either direction. You may hike it clockwise to catch the morning light on the Grand Tetons.
