The summer months are the most popular time to visit Grand Teton National Park because of the nicer weather conditions.  The park will be crowded during these months.

Grand Teton National Park Summer Hiking

-  Check in at a visitor    center for current trail    conditions. -  Make noise and carry    bear spray as you hike -  Be prepared for quick    weather changes -  Prepare for high    elevation -  Avoid solo hiking and    stay on trails

Hidden Falls Summer Hike

This beautiful and easy hike begins at the Jenny Lake Trailhead. This hike is considered easy if you take the shuttle boat across to the Cascade Canyon Trailhead. 

Lakeshore Trail Summer Hike

The Lakeshore Trail begins on the backside of the Colter Bay Visitor Center.   It consists of two connecting loops that circle around the inner and outer portions of the Colter Bay Peninsula.

String and Leigh Lakes Summer Hike

These two lake trails are beautiful and easy trails with amazing lake views.  Be on the lookout for deer and moose along the trail. 

Jenny Lake Loop Summer Hike

This loop can be hiked in either direction, but counter clockwise is nice to catch the morning light on the mountains.   This is a very popular part of the park so early morning is nice for smaller crowds.

Taggart Lake - Bradley Loop Summer Hike

This is a heavily trafficked trail so morning visits are nice. This is a moderate difficulty trail. Hiking the trail counter clockwise will provide the best views and photography opportunities.

Lunch Tree Hill Summer Hike

This is a short, interpretive trail that leads to a hill top with views of Willow Flats and the Teton Mountain Range. This trail is know for wildlife sightins.
