With a unique Great Salt Lake landscape, Antelope Island has its own enchantments that are worthy of a visit.   It is known not only for its unique beauty but for the variety of wildlife living on the island.

Arches is an amazing place to visit that is known for its red rock, larger than life Sandstone Arches. A timed entry reservation and entry fee will  be required to enter the park.

Bryce Canyon is a nice national park to visit in the summer due to its higher elevation and cooler temperatures. Bryce Canyon is a spectacular hiking destination with its many trails among the maze of hoodoos.

A nice cool waterfall is a great place to visit in the heat of summer.   The trailhead is 25 minutes down the road from Escalante.  It is a moderately difficult, dog friendly hike that is 5.8 miles round trip with a 600ft elevation gain.

Lower Calf Creek Falls

Park City is a nice Utah vacation spot to enjoy cooler temperatures amid beautiful mountain views.   It is home to Olympic Legacy Park, The Deep Valley Music Festival, and many other cultural and outdoor activities.

Hurricane is a charming town located 30 miles from Zion National Park.   This southern Utah destination is an excellent choice for those seeking an exciting outdoors vacation.
