Travel Guide for Zion National Park in April

Located in Southwestern Utah, Zion National Park is a stunning landscape of red-rock canyons, deep gorges, and towering cliffs.

Due to Spring melting snowpack in the area, some Zion Hikes could be closed due to falling rocks, slides, or fast moving water.

In April the shuttle runs every day and is the only access to Zion Canyon.   

A trip to Zion in April is awesome! Be prepared for crowds. The weather and temps are perfect this time of year.

Zion - Mt. Carmel Highway is a spectacular and memorable drive. There are great pull outs and viewpoints to enjoy the canyon. 

Kolob Canyons is about 40 miles north of Zion and provides access to amazing views and hikes.
