Plan 2 to 3 hours for the drive, and add more time if you’ll be taking photos or hiking at any of the stops.
It’s best to plan your hiking in the morning and late afternoon when it’s a bit cooler and the sun isn’t so intense.
In June you can see the milky way from 10:30 pm to 3:30 am. It means a late night, or very early morning, but rewarding for those who want to make the effort!
