Visiting Zion in July: There’s one word to describe Zion National Park in July – HOT! You’ll want to limit the outdoor activities like hiking, biking, and canyoneering to the morning and evening when it’s a bit cooler.
In July the Zion National Park shuttle will run every day. Zion Canyon will not be accessible by car during this time. Highway 9, Kolob Terrace and Kolob Canyon scenic drives are always accessible.
