Wow, you've got some fun stories to tell! Loved snorkeling at Hanauma Bay! Thank you for the feature, and for your time putting that together each week!

What a great list of hikes!!! I have been on two from your list:
(1) Death Valley - when I was in Air Explorer Post 747, when I was 16 or 17. We flew in and drove to Stove Pipe Wells campground. I had to sit out a few things (I did go into the big cave, and on the sand dunes at night) as I had strep throat (too exhausted). Got treated by our leader, who coincidentally was a doctor. He flew back to Cameron Park, CA, to get penicillin for me!
(2) Kilauea Iki and Halemaumau Crater (age 21) - I had gone over with friends who were in the Ironman Triathlon. My friend Rob and I were roommates and we brought our bikes. I used to cycle 1000's of miles back in my early 20's, but I lived from 1970-1974 on Oahu (how I knew about Kilauea Military Camp and the hikes around the volcanoes). The Thurston Lava Tubes are really cool, too (Oahu), as is hiking and snorkeling at around Hanauma Bay.

So happy to feature your post at Share Your Style #372 for you this evening! Happy New Year!!!
