RV Camping at Yellowstone National Park

There are 12 campgrounds in Yellowstone. All campsites require advanced reservations except Mammoth Campground from October 15 to April 1 when it’s first-come, first-served. It’s recommended you make your reservations far in advance due the demand for campsites at Yellowstone.

Fishing Bridge RV Park is the only campground at Yellowstone offering water, sewer, and electrical hookups for hard-sided vehicles only.

When the temperatures are below freezing, dump stations may close at the campgrounds where they are available.

Plus there are six bathhouses and four laundry rooms throughout the park!

Yellowstone RV Park & Campground – Gardiner, MT

You can’t beat the location of one of the most popular RV parks in the world due to its beautiful setting along the Yellowstone River. Yellowstone RV Park is just a mile from Yellowstone National Park’s North Entrance in Gardiner, Montana. This RV park offers amenities like electrical service, a laundry facility, water and sewer hookups, and spacious pull-thru sites for large rigs.

Sun Outdoors Yellowstone North – Gardiner, MT

Formerly known as Rocky Mountain RV Park, Sun Outdoors Yellowstone North is located 1/4 mile from the Yellowstone north entrance. The RV Park is surrounded by mountains overlooking a canyon. You’ll find well-spaced RV sites with full hookups, electricity, water, sewer, and a picnic table.

Yellowstone Valley Inn and RV Park – Wapiti near Cody, WY

This RV Park is located 40 miles from the park’s East entrance. Compared to other RV parks with full hookups near Yellowstone, this place has more amenities than many of the others: restaurant, saloon banquet hall, heated pool, hot tub, fitness center, and laundry room.

Green Creek Inn and RV Park – Wapiti near Cody, WY

Open from early May 9 to late October, here’s another RV Park option outside the East entrance. Green Creek features modern amenities and conveniences, such as a laundry facility, free WiFi, and a shower facility. This RV Park is a budget-friendly option, but you’ll need to pay an additional fee for pets and they must be leashed at all times.

Headwaters Campground and RV Park – between Grand Teton & Yellowstone

If you’ll be visiting both Grand Teton and Yellowstone, this is the spot to stay! This campground features a picturesque wooded setting with a view of the Teton mountains. It is the perfect place to de-stress, as no cellular or internet service is available. There are 97 full hookup sites and 40 camper cabins at the campground that’s open from June to October.

Fireside Buffalo Valley RV Park – Moran, WY

This RV Park is 33 miles south of the south Yellowstone entrance and five miles east of the Moran entrance to Grand Teton National Park. It offers campsites with full hookups; water, electric, and sewer. There is a picnic table and in-ground fire ring at each site. A convenience store in this RV park sells firewood, ice, RV supplies, souvenirs, and ready-to-eat meals. The gas station is available 24 hours a day. Plus, there is an onsite full-service bar and liquor store open daily.
