Canyonlands National Park RV Camping
It’s important to note that Canyonlands National Park has no food, lodges, or gas available.
Island in the Sky: Water is available outside the Visitor Center year-round. The nearest services are in Moab, about 32 miles from Canyonlands National Park Island in the Sky.
Needles: Water is available year-round at the Needles Visitor Center. The nearest town is Monticello, about 48 miles away or Moab is 75 miles from Needles Canyonlands.

Willow Flat RV Camping at Island in the Sky
Willow Flat Campground is a small campground in Island in the Sky with 12 sites. It is fully operational all-year-round. The campground is first-come, first-served and sites fill quickly spring through fall.
Facilities include: pit toilets, picnic tables, and fire rings. The campground allows pets.
There is no potable water, RV hook-ups, dump station, or shower facilities at this campground in Canyonlands.

Willow Flat Campground Accessibility

- Paths around the campsite are paved with easy access to the picnic table, fire ring, and pit toilet.
Needles District RV Camping
The Needles Campground has 26 individual sites, and 3 group sites in different locations around the park. It is fully operational all-year-round.
You can reserve some individual camp sites spring through fall and group sites between mid-March and mid-November. The rest of the campground sites are first-come, first-served and sites fill quickly spring through fall.
Facilities include: pit toilets, picnic tables, and fire rings. The campground allows pets.
There is no potable water, RV hook-ups, dump station, or shower facilities at this campground in Canyonlands.

The Needles Campground Accessibility
- Two ADA accessible campsites: one is always reserved only for people with disabilities; the other is held for people with disabilities until 8 pm. After that, anyone can occupy that one site for one night.
- Both sites offer wheelchair access to the fire ring, tent pad, and picnic tables.
- One accessible toilet between the two accessible campsites.
- Group campsites are not accessible due to gravel or sand.
- Roadways in the campground are paved, but there are speed bumps that may be difficult for a wheelchair to navigate.

RV Parks in North Moab Closest to Canyonlands Island in the Sky
You’ll access Island in the Sky north of Moab. These RV Parks will be the closest campgrounds to Canyonlands!
Canyonlands Gateway Campground
Formerly Archview RV Resort & Campground, this RV Park is located at the junction of Highway 191 and 313, the turnoff to Island in the Sky. It’s is open from March to October. The resort offers RV sites, tent sites, and cabins.
There are standard, deluxe and extra large RV sites with full hookups that include a picnic table, charcoal grill, cable, and WiFi access.
Other amenities include an on-site general store, ATM, propane, laundry, restrooms and showers, swimming pool and splash pad!
Formerly Moab Valley RV Resort, this campground is on the far north end of Moab. There are RV sites, tent sites, cabins, and fun Airstream rentals at this pet-friendly resort!
For RVs, you can pull in or back into sites that accommodate RVs between 20-45 feet in length. All areas come with full hookups of 30- or 50-amp electricity. Each site has a charcoal grill, picnic table, and WiFi access.
The amenities here include: on-site store, restroom & shower facilities, laundry, swimming pool, bicycle wash & repair station, life-size chess & checkers, dog park, putting green, and a playground!
Formerly Slickrock Campground, this campground is a pet-friendly, year-round campground close to several restaurants and shopping areas. The RV park offers RV sites, tent sites and cabin vacation rentals.
Various amenities are available on-site including WiFi, cable TV access, laundry, restrooms & showers, store, swimming pool, and playground.
RV sites at the campground are suitable for RVs from 25 to 50 feet in length, including those with slide-outs, back-ins, and pull-throughs.
On-site water and electric outlets are available for rooftop tents, vans, small campers, and large tents.
Formerly known as Canyonlands RV Resort & Campground, this RV Park is open year-round. There are RV sites, tent sites, and camping cabins.
Amenities include a general store, gas station, showers, laundry facilities, swimming pool, splash pad, playground, cable and WiFi access, and an ATM.
A full hookup is provided at each RV site, including a natural or cement pad, picnic table, and fire pit. They can accommodate RVs up to 50 feet in length at these sites. The sites have a picnic table and a fire pit. An on-site dump station is also available.
RV Parks in South Moab Closest to Canyonlands Needles
The RV parks located in the Southern part of Moab are about 30 minutes to Island in the Sky and 45 minutes to Needles Canyonlands. This area offers amazing red rock views and the La Sal Mountains.
One of the most popular RV campgrounds near Canyonlands National Park, OK RV Park offers RV sites, glamping tents, glamping tipis, or cabins.
RV sites include full hookups (water, sewer, electric), free WiFi and cable, and access to the park facilities and common areas.
The amenities here include laundry facilities, showers, toilets, and pet-friendly accommodations in your own RV.

Portal RV has two sections: one is open for RV site rentals and the other offers premium RV sites and ownership RV sites.
The RV park provides a variety of amenities, including free WiFi, a pool, spa, bathhouse, laundry, a sand volleyball court, and a dog park for pets. Additionally, they offer big-rig-friendly sites that can accommodate RVs with a length of 65 feet or more.
Fully furnished luxury vacation rentals are also available. They are 4000 square feet with 3 or master suites, gourmet kitchen, flat screen TVs in most rooms, and outdoor living space with picnic table and chairs.
You’ll find this RV Park located three miles south of downtown Moab. The RV sites are surrounded by large trees and grassy areas. Each pull-thru site comes with full hook-ups.
The RV campground amenities include free access to WiFi, swimming pool, spa, TV lounge, laundry machines, renovated bathrooms, disabled facilities, and a covered pavilion. Pets are welcome here as long as they are leashed.
Located in the Spanish Valley just two miles south of Moab, this campground offers RV sites, tent sites and cabin rentals at Moab Rim.
The amenities include restrooms, showers, WiFi, cable TV, playground, pet station, and snack items for sale on site. Most of the sites have fire rings and grass.
The campground has large additional parking areas to fit in dozens of accessory trucks and trailers at no extra charge!
