There are no hotels in Arches or Canyonlands, only small campgrounds. Due to this, most people stay in Moab.

Where to Stay Near Arches and Canyonlands National Parks
Since there are no lodges or hotels in Arches or Canyonlands, most people stay in Moab. The town is about 5 miles from the entrance to Arches, 32 miles to the entrance of Canyonlands Island in the Sky, and 74 miles to Canyonlands Needles.

Arches National Park Lodging
The only type of lodging in the park is for Arches National Park camping. Devil’s Garden Campground is the only place to camp in the park. There are 51 campsites for tents and RVs (no hook-ups or dump station).
Reservations are required from March 1 to October 31. For anyone interested in You can even enjoy Arches National Park winter camping, from November 1 and February 28 all camping sites at Arches are first-come, first served.

Canyonlands National Park Lodging
The only type of lodging in the park is for Canyonlands National Park camping.
Island in the Sky Campgrounds – Willow Flat Campground is open year round. It’s first-come, first-served near the Green River overlook. There are 12 sites with picnic tables and fire rings. Please Note: There is no water at this campground.
Needles Canyonlands Camping – There are no services at Canyonlands Needles. The nearest place to get food, firewood, and supplies is Monticello, Utah, approximately 60 minutes’ drive from The Needles. There is seasonal potable water. Camp sites have toilets, fire rings, picnic tables, and trash cans.

RV Parks in Moab: you’ll find locations ranging from a full-service RV park with all the amenities to something more rustic and secluded.
The north end of Moab is minutes from Arches National Park, and about 30 minutes from Canyonlands Island in the Sky.

The RV parks located in the Southern part of Moab are central locations for visiting Needles Canyonlands 30 minutes to the south, Arches 10 minutes to the north, and Island in the Sky 40 minutes to the north. This area offers amazing red rock views and the La Sal Mountains.
