You may still need warm winter clothing in March, especially in the cold morning and evening times: winter coatfleece jacketwinter hat and gloves.

The Arches National Park weather in March is starting to get warmer, but the mornings and evenings will still be cold. The average highs in March are highs near 64 degrees and lows near 35 degrees Fahrenheit. Keep in mind the weather can be unpredictable if a storm rolls through with rain, and possibly snow, even in March!

Bryce Canyon Weather In March

Here’s what you can expect when visiting Bryce Canyon National Park in March:

Bryce Canyon’s elevation is 9,100 feet which means spring is still cold with the possibility of rain and snow storms. The temperatures in March average between 44 degrees Fahrenheit and 19 degrees Fahrenheit. Be prepared with winter gear and clothing!

The main Bryce Canyon scenic drive could be closed due to weather and road conditions, which means you’ll only be able to see the amphitheater section of the park.

But the amphitheater has some of the best Bryce Canyon views and photo spots to capture stunning landscape photography.

Canyonlands Weather In March

Here’s what you can expect when visiting Canyonlands National Park in March:

It’s nice to be able to explore the park all day long without worrying about the daytime heat during the summer! But Canyonlands National Park in the spring is a popular season so expect crowds!

The Canyonlands National Park weather will be cold in the mornings and evenings, and the daytime temperatures will be just right for exploring the park. The average highs are near 64 degrees with the lows around 35. Keep in mind the weather can be unpredictable if a storm rolls through with rain. Snow could also be a possibility in March.

Capitol Reef Weather In March

Here’s what you can expect when visiting Capitol Reef in March:

The Capitol Reef National Park weather in March is still cold and you may experience snow or rain. You’ll find average temperatures in March with highs near 55 and lows near 31 degrees Fahrenheit.

The Capitol Reef scenic drive is a must-do activity to see and photograph the cliffs, canyons, domes and bridges! If you’re up for adventure, you can explore the Cathedral Valley District or Waterpocket District of Capitol Reef. They are remote, rugged regions that requires vehicles with high ground clearance. In March you may need four-wheel drive depending on road and weather conditions.

Zion National Park Weather In March

Here’s what you can expect when visiting Zion National Park in March:

The Zion National Park shuttle buses are running in March – check the NPS website for the most current shuttle dates and information. The Zion Canyon scenic drive is closed to private vehicles during the shuttle season. 

Zion National Park weather in March is wet so be prepared with rain gear in case a storm rolls through so you can still enjoy the outdoor activities at the park. There may be a random snow storm in March so always check the Zion weather forecast so you have the right clothing for the conditions.

The days and nights are still cool this time of year at Zion. In March the highs are usually in the mid 60s and the lows are near 40 degrees Fahrenheit.
